We Now Come To The ‘Latest’ In The Phillip Garrido Case.

In an astonishing letter to Sacramento Television Station KCRA, Garrido complains that Jaycee Lee Dugard’s rights are being abused. These included her Rights of Free Speech and being repeatedly denied access to an attorney during questioning. Phillip Garrido requested them to contact Jaycee Dugard at the earliest possible date.

So Garrido has the right to follow his story on TV and write to the media and thereby influence his case. By this I mean he can keep the nightmare alive for the Dugard family. Constantly putting his name in their front room. Someone in the family is bound to turn the TV on and hear of this letter. What right does he have to do this? What are we doing letting him?

What we are seeing here is Phillip Garrido’s rights. The prisoner’s rights. Liberals have given him the right to follow every facet of his case as it is reported and is revealed on TV. It appears Phillip Garrido can talk about his case with the media via face to face interviews, telephone calls and by letter. In this instance he sent a letter to the television company. He understands full well KCRA will air its contents to the public.

The Dugard family are going to see the letter or hear about the letter and the nature of its contents.

So what exactly are we dealing with here? The Government are protecting Garrido’s rights. His rights to continue his abuse of Jaycee and her family.

We’ve badly let down Jaycee Lee Dugard and her family over the last Eighteen years and we are still letting them down by not shielding them from this evil.

So I ask you who’s sick? Phillip Garrido for standing jointly accused of 29 felony charges, for writing this letter, or for us letting him?

What about our civil rights? What about the rights of Jaycee Lee Dugard and her long suffering family? What about the victim’s rights? What about our rights to protection from beasts like Garrido?

 How could Jaycee and her children remain undiscovered for all that time?. Regular visits by the parole services to the house of Garrido never revealed Jaycee and her children held captive in the yard. This man should have had no right of privacy what so ever. If this is the reason given by the parole service as to why no examination was carried out. They haven’t put this forward yet. But I can hear it being muted in the background already!

 The whole thing is shocking!

 We all know how stretched, etc., the various departments involved in this investigation have been. The FBI, the Sherif’s dept and the Parole Services. But what has this got to do with checking the garden a few feet away? The failure to check his garden and backyard when neighbors have reported hearing children’s voices in the backyard, that people were living in the backyard, has absolutely nothing to do with man hours, workload, underfunding or anything else that may be put forward as a reason why this appalling situation went undetected by the authorities for 18years.

 I still can’t take all this in! Shock!. Those poor poor girls should never have had to endure those years of captivity. There was just no need.
